National Mission on Natural Farming



Recently the Central Government has formulated an independent scheme to encourage the farmers to adopt chemical-free farming.


The scheme is formulated for the period of 2023 to 2026 by upscaling the Bhartiya Prakritik Krishi Paddhati.


The scheme aims to promote an alternative system of farming, and to popularize integrated agriculture-animal husbandry models. 


The farmers will benefit from incentive for one-time on-farm manure production infrastructure and  training by Champion farmers and CRP


BPKP is a centrally sponsored scheme which aims at promoting traditional indigenous practices that give freedom to farmers from externally purchased inputs.
