Frontiers report



  • The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has warned in its annual Frontiers report about worsening of Wildfire.

  • It is released on February 17, 2022.

  • They are likely to increase due to rising concentrations of atmospheric greenhouse gases and the attendant escalation of wildfire risk factors.

  •  Africa was the most affected region due to wildfire in 2021.

  • The last report is named "Noises,Blazes and Mismatches:Emerging Issues of Environmental concern".
