Organization of Islamic Cooperation



It is the 2nd  largest intergovernmental organization after the United Nations, with membership of 57 states.


Established under a summit that took place in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco in 1969.


It has its headquarters at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.


India is not a member of the OIC


It serves as the voice of the Muslim community and protects their interests.
